John Rogers

John Rogers, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

John Rogers is a shareholder of Paragon and, since July 2014, VP of Acquisitions with Paragon Group. A highly experienced manager, he was previously an Executive Officer of Identiv (2008-2013), a start-up when he joined and now a NASDAQ-listed provider of secure identification technology and earlier Vice President of Strategy for Identification Technology Group, a division of Assa Abloy. Prior to that, he held the position of CEO of Sokymat (now part of HID Global), formerly the world’s largest manufacturer of RFID transponders with 600 employees in Europe and Asia. During his tenure at Sokymat (2001 – 2006), he played a leading role in the turnaround and aggressive expansion of the business through both organic growth and numerous successful technology and RFID acquisitions. Prior assignments include a number of roles with automotive components manufacturer, Delphi Automotive in the US and Germany (1994-2001).
 
An Irish National, John holds Bachelor in Business Studies and MA degrees from Trinity College Dublin and a European MBA from ESCP Paris. John is fluent in both French and German.

 

Clem Garvey

Clem Garvey, Deputy CEO in charge of Finance and Operations (Chief Operating Officer - COO)

Clem spent a number of years in Corporate Finance in the City of London before joining Gestetner, an office equipment OEM and became Chief Operating Officer of Gestetner France in 1996. Following the acquisition of Gestetner by Ricoh, he spearheaded the growth of the Japanese group in France for the following fourteen years.

Clem was Chairman and Chief Executive of the Ricoh Group in France when he left it to take on the role of Chief Operating Officer of the Neopost group, one of France’s top 120 listed companies. He was at the forefront of Neopost’s transformation into a provider of digital communication solutions for seven years, creating the Neopost-Esker joint-venture.

In early 2016, Clem joined the board of Escher Group Holdings plc, world leader in software supplied to the postal and logistics worlds. In his role as Chief Financial Officer, Clem led the sale of the company (in a « public to private » transaction) to a PE group in April 2018.

 

Dominique Durant des Aulnois

Dominique Durant des Aulnois, Secretary general in charge of human resources

Dominique Durant joined the Paragon Group in 1997, he is a shareholder and since 2010 he is the General Manager of the Identification Division. A highly experienced manager, he has established Paragon Identification as one of the market leaders in access control for urban transportation through the development of services and RFID technology. He played a key role in the successful integration of the Identification Division inside the Group. Prior to that, Dominique had managed Paragon Identification SAS, set up in 2000 as a spin-off of Paragon France, and had successfully grown up in the French and international markets.
 
He started his career with the Dutch Océ Group (1984-1997), now integrated into the Canon Group in which he held positions in sales and operations, both in France and in the United Kingdom. He was specialized in large format drawing machines for the CAD-CAM market. Dominique is a graduate of the Federal Institute of Technology of Lausanne, Switzerland.
 

 

François Gauthier, General Manager EMEA

François Gauthier joined Paragon Identification in September 2012. Previously, François worked as Business Unit & Operations Director for Daher, Vallourec and Lafarge. He has a strong experience in change management, management of profit centers and industrial organisations. François is now General Manager Paragon ID EMEA. 

François is graduated from ICAM General Engineering School (Fr), and holds an Executive MBA in General Management from ESCP Europe.

Andrew Jones, General Manager UK

Formerly Associate Director for Grant Thornton’s business consulting division, Andrew has a 20-year career spanning professional services, automotive, industrial power, consumer electronics and renewables markets.  Andrew has Led a number of key projects, most recently assessing the future demands and capability of the UK Steel Industry on behalf of UK Government and the UK steel council. Prior to Grant Thornton, Andrew held senior roles for TomTom, Toyoda, International Rectifiers and most notably global operations director for Intelligent Energy plc.
 
Andrew has a background in mechanical and electronic engineering, a diploma in total quality management and is a graduate of the prestigious Windsor leadership programme.

 

Thierry Burgess, General Manager US

Thierry Burgess is currently CEO at Paragon ID US (formerly ASK InTag). Prior to joining ASK, he held various positions at Oberthur Technologies and HP/Verifone. He is a veteran of the smart card industry, having started his career as an engineer at Schlumberger,  Smart Cards Division in 1987.

Graduated from the Ecole Normale Supérieure Cachan (Fr), he has a Degree in Applied Physics and a MS in Electrical Engineering (Universite Paris Sud / Orsay).

 

 

Paul McEnaney, European Operations Executive, PARAGON ID

Paul is responsible for the management of the operations across Paragon ID's 7 manufacturing sites, ensuring best practice and efficiency is implemented throughout. Paul previously held positions in Suretank Group and Clondalkin Group working on developing lean manufacturing programs, restructuring business operations, improving efficiency and cost management across manufacturing sites.   

Paul has a Doctorate in Business Administration from Waterford Institute of Technology. 

 

Bertrand Brault, Director of Marketing Business Development

Bertrand joined Paragon Identification in 2005 to lead the challenge of migrating magnetic technology to contactless solutions. Bertrand is Sales and Marketing Manager for Paragon ID working with teams in France, UK, UK and USA, he has since developed his knowledge of public transport markets in France and abroad and has overseen a number of strategic projects such as:

  •      Webhelp - Docapost partnership for SNCF projects.
  •      Starting a ticketing project in Marseille with electrical and graphic personalization of 400,000 Calypso cards
  •      Start-up in July 2012 of a contactless ticket production site in Bucharest.
